The winner is....(spoiler for the west coast non-DVR individuals)

While many people are gearing up for the upcoming super bowl, the super bowl of television and film is here!!

The Golden Globes!

Lets hit the nitty gritty...who walked out a winner, and who is be fake clapping and smiling their way through the night...I promise, tomorrows post will be all about the fashion, the people, and all the other globes chatter....but lets hit the win list!!

Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture
Mo'Nique-Critics Choice repeats, and it was the right choice...though her speech mimicked her previous nights.

Actress TV series comedy or musical
Toni Collette-I love her, but her shoe has been fairly absent this season, so Im not sure where this came from...Lea Michele (Glee) would have been a great choice.

Best Supporting actor TV series, mini series or TV movie
John Lithgow....come on, its Neil Patrick Harris's turn!!!

Best Animated Feature Film
UP!

Best Actor TV Series Drama
Michael c. Hall...and he deserved it---1st win?! I mean, really?!

Best Actress TV Series-Drama
Julianna Margulies...um? ok.

Best Mini-series or TV Movie
Grey Gardens...I hope you all saw this coming!!

Best Actress Motion Picture Comedy or Musical
Meryl Streep (for Julie and Julia)...nominated twice in this category had to give you all an idea of who would win.

Best Actor Mini-Series or TV Movie
Kevin Bacon....even he was surprised.

Best Actress Mini-Series or TV Movie
Drew Barrymore...I love her, so it's all good! Plus, her speech was beautiful.

Best Screenplay Motion Picture
Up in the Air

Best Actor Comedy or Musical
Alec Baldwin...not surprised, but i am disappointed, there was so much talent on that list...whats with the lack of Glee love? they sing, act, dance---its a triple threat cast!

Best Series-Drama
Mad Men....anyone NOT see that coming?

Best Supporting Actress in a TV series, mini series or TV Movie
Chloe Sevigny...No, I never understood why this category seems to include everything.

Best Supporting Actor Motion Picture
Christoph Waltz (Inglorious Bastards)

Cecile B Demille Award
Martin Scorsese...well honored, well deserved!

Director-Motion Picture
James Cameron-Avatar....Really? I mean there couldn't have been that much directing in a tech-driven, computer necessary film...Least he was as surprised he was the winner as everyone else was.

Best TV Series Comedy or Musical
GLEE!!! Best Decision made all night!! It is truly a talent powerhouse of fierceness.

Best Motion Picture Comedy or Musical
The Hangover...The globes trying to get the young crowd in?? It was funny, but I've never seen the globes go for drunken frat boy humor...its like the year hip hop won.

Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama
Sandra Bullock....It took a lot of years, but that woman worked for it!

Best Actor in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical
Robert Downey Jr.--Sherlock Holmes...least his speech was funny and honest.

Best Actor in a Drama
Jeff Bridges...Standing Ovation!

Best Motion Picture-Drama
Avatar...yeah, I wanted to cry...I get special effects award or something, but this movies plot wasn't anywhere near groundbreaking, or for that matter-all that good. Ugh. Precious was robbed, as was The Hurt Locker...anything with depth and humanity and a plot would have been great!!
